View from Above
My friend Dave recently e-mailed me a set of images taken from space, and downloaded from this website. Interestingly, one of the images was of the Black Sea:
Clearly visible is the peninsula of Crimea or, as we Ukrainians call it, Krym. I've added a small red "X" to mark the spot where I spent two weeks at UCARE camp, in the town of Nikita, site of a lovely botanical garden, and now a suburb of Yalta.
