New, Improved, Bill of Rights

Our forefathers, in their wisdom, found fault with the original Constitution as it was proposed. It laid out the structure of government, but did nothing to ensure the rights they had so recently fought a war to defend. To appease them, and to get the Constitution passed, the first ten amendments were added.

These ten amendments enshrined those rights which the original, real patriots* had given their lives for. The Bush administration does to feel obligated to honer them, however. Below it their version of what the Bill of Rights should mean. Because, as we all know, the modern Republican party only feels that one amendment is inviolable. Can you guess which one it is? (Hint: think NRA)

(*not the mindless, right wing jingoistic drones who fashion themselves as "patriots," but would give away all their rights for the assurance that hey'll be safe from those big, bad arabs.......)
